Janel has always been inspired through and guided by her connection with nature and the natural rhythms of life. She enjoys assisting others on the journey of restoring mental, physical and emotional harmony.
Janel Volk Hubbard
Janel has been a counselor in private practice for 18 years and an occupational therapist for the past 28 years. She has an integrated approach combining traditional and complementary modalities to assist others rediscover their true nature. Her initial formal training led her to receive a license in occupational therapy; over the 9 years of working solely in that field she provided service in mental health, childhood development, numerous medical diagnoses and palliative care. Her experience during those years led her to discover the need to expand services she offered to include counseling. She went on to receive additional training and receive an independent license in counseling. Parallel to this entire process she has been drawn to understand the role the energy body plays in well being. As a result Janel has sought out extensive training that complemented her occupational therapy and counseling licensure. She has completed training in Qi Gong, Tai Chi, energy healing, Cranial Sacral Therapy, graduated from the Gestalt Two Year Training Program and the Spiritheal Institute Spiritual Leadership Training, became an Eden Energy Medicine (EEM) Advanced Practitioner, and trained in Energy Psychology.
Janel serves on the faculty of the Eden Energy Medicine Certification Program which draws students internationally. She currenty is the Year Three Class Administrator for the EEM training.
