According to the National Institute of Health (NIH) “energy medicine”(EM) is based on the concept that human beings are infused with two types of energy fields, one measurable the other not. The subtle vital energy field can not be measured by conventional instruments is the focus in Eden Energy Medicine (EEM). Disruption in its flow can cause energetic imbalances which may result in disease. EM is provided by a variety of types of practitioners rooted in various cultural and philosophical approaches. The purpose of all EM is to restore the living sytem/human body to it’s natural state of balance. Donna Eden views Energy Medicine as a dynamic in which energy is the medicine and the recipient as well. In EEM, nine energy systems are considered to effect the human body; Aura, Meridians, Five Rhythms, Celtic Weave, Chakras, Grid, Radiant Circuits, Triple Warmer and Electrics. These energy systems are integrated and all exist in the realm of subtle energy fields. When imbalances occur in them, the natural state of well-being and health is challenged physically, emotionally and spiritually.
